Mental & Emotional Health: Living Over 50

Get great tips on how to take a breath and attend to your mental and emotional needs from three speakers. De-stress and walk away with practical tips.

This workshop is part of a series. You do not need to attend one, to attend another. Join us for any you can make!

It's a New You: Six-Part Series once a month on Fridays 6:30pm-8:30pm @ the Romeoville Branch

Living over 50 has its challenges. Listen to various speakers on topics with YOU at the center of it all.  Then take part in activities to help you discover yourself all over again. When was the last time you looked within or carved out time in your busy life for yourself? It's time! Join the journey. Two hours once a month for six months.

We'll begin by looking at our outside because we often judge ourselves as harshly as others view us. Then continue by looking at our health, how we can all improve, and how we struggle, especially as we get older. Learn how to take a breath and attend to your mental and emotional needs. Lean within and listen to stories that will touch your spiritual side and leave you feeling inspired. We’ll end our journey shining on the inside and smiling on the outside!
