Our Bilingual Storytime program will expose young children to books, songs, and activities in both English and Spanish. This program is intended for everyone, even those with little to no Spanish knowledge. For children ages 2 to 5.

Using embroidery thread and a metal ring, create a button straight out of 17th century sewing to use as a pendant or keychain. *Note: recommended for those comfortable with embroidering small, detailed projects.

Are you ready to embark on a journey into the captivating game of Mahjong? The library invites you to our open Mahjong club where you can learn, play, and have a great time with fellow enthusiasts!

Library staff will demonstrate both Libby and Hoopla e-resources services to anyone interested in learning about these White Oak Library District resources, will discuss the benefits of each, and will help you become as familiar with your eLibrary

Middle and High schoolers are welcome to hangout and play games in our after school open gaming club. All you need is to be in grades 6-12.  We will play board games and video games.

Earn service hours by attending TVN (Teen Volunteer Night). Make new friends and develop new skills! We will have fun activities for you to do each month. Check in at the Adult services desk. 

Registration is required. 

Time to show off your amazing art skills with our freestyle arts & crafts! This self-directed craft program is the perfect time to make your own masterpiece.

Challenge your friends and Mr. Max to a game of chess or Mario Kart! Join us as we play our vast collection of video and board games. For kids ages 8-12. Younger siblings welcome with parent.

Bring the whole family for a night of Bingo at the library! All ages will enjoy this activity with the chance to win a prize.

Love Food? Love Trying New Things? Try out Teen Tasters! Each month try new delicious foods with different themes. This month we will be trying an at home recipe for the famous Nuka Cola from the Fallout video game franchise.
