During YAM schools and libraries around the country hold events and programs to help celebrate youth made art with an aim to help people recognize art is necessary to fully develop a better quality of life for ALL. The Council for Art Education also strives to help everyone recognize art education as a viable factor in the total education curriculum that develops citizens of a global society.

Tweens ages 9 through 12 are invited to create a special "small space" canvas that will be exhibited in the libraries main display case in the entrance foyer for the entire month of March!
The canvas may be small, but the options are nearly limitless for what can be created and showcased!
In at the end of the display month youth will be able to pick up their creations and take them home to continue to enjoying and cherishing their art.
