Program Description

Event Details

Decorate pumpkins for Halloween and enter them into the library's Pumpkin Decorating Contest. Staff will vote for their favorites and the winner will receive a box set of books! 

The Rules

  • All participants taking part of this challenge will receive a foam pumpkin with a number on the bottom. This number will make sure your entry is anonymous for voting! The number in the bottom of the pumpkin will be written next to the participant’s name on the sign-up sheet.
  • The challenge: using supplies provided, create a one-of-a-kind pumpkin. You can use the cat pumpkin in these instructions as inspiration or make your own!
  • All pumpkins created will stay at the library for voting from Tue. Oct. 7th- Oct. 20th, 2025.

Judges: Library Staff

  • The winner will be contacted to pick up their book prize! All participants will also be contacted to pick up their pumpkin after voting has ended.
