Over the years, John LeGear, a communications counselor and lay historian, has cobbled together hundreds of film compilations from outstanding movies and put them to accompanying music. In 2024, he scoured his collection for hidden gems, carefully manicured film compositions that have rotated in and out of his “movie music” presentations over the years. That effort brought about “Songs of the Silver Screen,” a new, 80-minute presentation that cuts a wide swath through 100 years of film, music, romance and comedy. 

Please join us for LeGear's presentation as we take a lyrical tour through the decades and pay tribute to some of the most memorable songs and dances of our lifetime.
