Come celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with the Solange Brazil Duo!

Solange Posey will be performing Brazilian music and some of your favorite great Latin music accompanied by virtuoso guitarist James Cornolo.

Vocalist Solange Posey hails from the Island of Vitoria, Espirito Santo in Brazil. The Brazilian soprano started singing at an early age. Since arriving in America she continues to perform with great Brazilian and Jazz musicians in Illinois. Solange fills the stage with the soul and vibrancy of Brazil. Surging with an electrifying repertoire of Bossa Nova, Samba, MPB (popular music of Brazil) and Latin jazz. 

Guitarist James Cornolo studied guitar performance and Pedagogy at Northeastern Illinois University.  He performs Latin, World, Jazz, Classical music and original material. No matter which electric music he performs, Jame’s cool vibe and gentle smile always fill the room with joy.
