Starting the week of July 15th, we will begin accepting gently-used puzzles at the Adult Services desk for our upcoming puzzle swap. Exchange your puzzles for tickets that you can take to the puzzle swap on July 23rd and redeem them for new-to-you puzzles, from others in your community! The Lockport Branch will have the collected puzzles out, ready for you to share and swap. We'll have tables set up so that you can try a puzzle before you take it home. If you missed the trading window last week, you can still bring your puzzles you'd like to swap on the day of the event.
This event will also mark the kickoff of our new pilot program at this branch, the Puzzle Nook, which will be located in the Quiet Reading Room. Once the Puzzle Nook is open, it will work as a "take-a-puzzle, leave-a-puzzle" system, where community members can come in and swap puzzles anytime.
Maximum of 4 puzzle tickets per person.
Registration is required due to limited space. If you are not able to attend, please cancel 48 hours in advance. No-shows may be waitlisted for future programs.
