Interested in learning about the rich musical culture Illinois has to offer? Join Ron Romero, CEO and founder of Illinois Rock and Roll Museum on Route 66 for an engaging presentation where he explores the music scene that shaped Illinois.

Ron Romero is the Founder, CEO, and Board Chairman of the Illinois Rock & Roll Museum on Route 66. Housed within the museum the Illinois Rock & Roll Hall of Fame recognizes the influential artists, producers, and industry figures from all musical genres who have shaped Illinois’ sound and cultural identity. Mr. Romero continues to champion the arts serving as an advisory board member for the Joliet Junior College Music Technology Program, on the Joliet City Center Partnership and the Joliet Arts Council while remaining an active musician. Through his work Ron has helped build bridges across generations and genres, spotlighting the diversity and depth of the state’s musical contributions
