Program Description

Event Details

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing housing needs and improving living conditions for families around the world. Habitat for Humanity works through volunteer efforts and partnerships to build and renovate homes, providing a hand-up rather than a handout to families in need. Their innovative approach involves families in the construction process, promoting community involvement and fostering a sense of ownership. With a global reach, Habitat for Humanity strives to eliminate poverty housing and create a world where everyone has a decent place to call home.

Cheryl Toohey, the Community Outreach/Volunteer Coordinator for Will County Habitat for Humanity, will discuss more about this wonderful organization, its outreach efforts as well as how you can get involved, if interested.

Registration is required due to limited space. If you are not able to attend, please cancel 48 hours in advance so we can offer your spot to someone else. "No-shows" may be wait-listed for future programs.
