In this storytelling lecture, William Pack will perform a reading of A Christmas Carol using a script based on Dickens’ 1867 abridged reading copy. The reading will be enhanced by a modern recreation of a magic lantern slide show, which was popular during Dickens’ lifetime. We will conclude with a Q&A, where William will answer your questions about the curious origins and motivations behind the story.
