Senior Fraud Protection: Illinois Attorney General Office

With technology, it's easy to create believable and dangerous scams that even the most tech savvy individuals fall victim to. The Attorney General's Office can help you discern what is real and what is fraudulent. Along with representatives from Senator Loughran Cappel's team, Representative Natalie Manley's team, Representative Dagmara Avelar's team, and Senior Services of Will County, we will learn about how to spot and avoid fraud and what to do if you fall victim to a scam. Learn how to spot and combat misinformation too! 

Participants will have an opportunity to visit each of the information tables after the talk and receive free handouts and goodies distributed by each of our library's partnership organizations.
