Join us for a 90-minute class on the basics of media literacy. "Media literacy is an expanded conceptualization of literacy that includes the ability to access and analyze media messages as well as create, reflect, and take action, using the power of information and communication to make a difference in the world" (The National Association for Media Literacy Education).

Learn about habits, skills, and tools to better access, navigate, and analyze media content critically and independently. This particular class will require basic computer, keyboard, and mouse skills, as well as minimal experience or exposure to internet browsers.
