Join Dr. Richard Foss as he discusses facts and myths surrounding climate change. Participate in a presentation that will highlight the history, language, economics, and science of climate change while also discussing preventative measures and solutions.
Holding a PhD in English from Western Michigan University, Dr. Foss has taught college writing, literature, research and argumentation for 25 years, including teaching a research/argument course on the Climate Crisis for five years. Dr. Foss also serves as board VP at Chicago 350, a local chapter of international climate action organization 350. 350 is a movement of ordinary people working to build a world powered by clean, accessible and affordable renewable energy.
